inspiration vs. jealousy

Inspiration vs. jealousy – inspiration is when we experience another’s success as possibility and catalyst to develop our own potential, even to the point that we don’t have to “reinvent the wheel” and can build upon what they have uncovered through their own experimentation and evolve us all as a whole.  Jealousy is when we experience another’s creativity as competition and a threat that highlights our own limitations and where we have not yet cultivated our own selves and possibilities.  Often it depends on how obstructed or liberated we are feeling at the moment which way we go – and jealousy often morphs into inspiration once it has shown us where we are blocked, allowing us to move along our own unique path, together.
